    Why do people plasti-derp their emblems? I don't understand it. That shit will peel off before long....then it looks like crap, actually.... it looks like crap plasti-dipped anyways. Sand, prep, adhesion promoter, flat black and gloss clearcoat for me. You could hit it with a hammer and I doubt you'd put a mark in that paint....

    He's doing it with plastiderp so he can see what it looks like before committing with paint. This way if he doesn't like it he can just peel it off.

    mine have been done for over a year. and about 14k miles:eek::( no problems at all with them pilling off.

    winter project is to bed line rear bumper and emblems. i Plasti dipped them because i did not know if i would like it over time.
