I like them but as others have said I would ditch the chrome for black or color matched. I am also curious to see them after your trip to Penn they do seem to stick out quite a bit more. Did you have a chance to compare the length from flange to edge of mirror housing. Depending on price point and color options I would rock those.

I like 'em for towing, but they would definitely be too long in the trails. I would probably still get them and fold them in for the trails though.

hOW DO YOU SET UP THE HEATERS IF YOUR TRUCK WAS BUILT WITHOUT HEATED MIRRORS?

I think color matched would need to be an option, I have a sport and would definitely want to color match if available.

Also, could you please post some pictures from the rear looking forward and from the driver seat also, Thanks.

One more thing just added to the mod list.

Subscribed. put me on the buy list as soon as they are available. Tow a 25foot Sunline TT, so these would be perfect.

    Thanks

Not sure yet. These came through non heated but im sure some extra wiring will be required. I was told they will come with a switch if heated though.

Now these, if they do wind up making them in black, could be a handy thing to toss on my truck.

Here is a really crappy use of paint since I do not have access to photoshop at the moment to get an idea of overall size and them being black.

Think I would use them, but not sure I would pop on the price since I can make due currently towing my boat with stock mirrors but it would make backing in a trailer much easier.

Tacoma is a narrow truck when compared to most trailers then the length of the trailer starts to come into play.

Guessing they are gonna be pricey since they have turn signals, heat and power movement.

I am gonna say between 275-400

With an 8 foot wide toy hauler I need a set of these mirrors even if they are that expensive, but it would be nice if we could get them without heat. Not a very important feature and likely to add quite a bit to the final price. I'd be happy if they also didn't have the turn signals just to keep the price as reasonable as possible.

Looking forward to hearing what the finished product will include.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time ... especially with the convex mirror mounted like that.

Is the passenger side mirror going to be slightly concaved or whatever is done to MAKE OBJECTS CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR and give you a more stable and wider field of view like is on all modern oem mirrors?

I've been looking for these for years. I don't know if I want to spend a fortune on these, so I'm hoping they wouldn't be too expensive. Convex passenger side would be a must. I'm not a fan of the small concave inserts in the corner. Heated would be nice, and so would colour matched. I think the turn signal blinker is not necessary.

OK, I just got word today that the black textured is a go! Also the turn signals COULD be smoked so that they blend in and not be so noticable. The turn signals and the heat should be on different connections so that if you do want or need them you don't have to connect them.
