Tea Parties

For those of you going, what do you hope to accomplish at these tea parties?

I am not trying to be rude, I really am wondering.

Personall, I don't think the a$$holes on capital hill care about these parties. They are in office. They will continue to be in office until we vote them out. They are already SO disconnected with the majority of Americans, I don't think there is any way to get them to reconnect.

Anyway, just wondering what you hope to accomplish.

 

Its just a wake up call for the gov we know nothing's going to get done right away but maybe it will lift some eye browse who know's. I've always been told a closed mouth don't get fed!

 

I am hoping if enough people show up, our elected representatives will start looking at their hole cards for the next election. I would like to let them know that there is a large number of people who are feeling disenfranchised and that the current politicians will NOT be getting their votes unless things change.

Maybe it is a little too optimistic, but that's what I am hoping for, anyway.

 

OH Yeah!! I was waiting for that one!!

I had two appointments I couldn't miss but managed to get downtown just after the local one here left the park for the march towards the courthouse.
