Ok it's 81# right now in direct sun. I am going to wait until after 7pm and hit a couple of my fav local spots. I hope it to be around 75 then. I will be fishing from shore with soft baits, rubber worms. I hope its cool enough and the fish are active then, I will post pics of my catch. This heat is killing me.

 

Its 93 in Mobile. I feel your pain man! Im gonna try to go kayak fishing in the bay with some buddies around 5. I bet it'll still be hot as hell though

No sir, I meant 11. Haha. You can catch as many as ya want as long as ya don't have 8 on a stringer. I never keep my limit.

 

Nice looking fish. I would broil,bake or grill those suckers... but wait I do have a really good recipe for fried trout.....decisions ....decisions....???

 

Around 16" rainbow. Caught 10 this evenin. As I was gettin out I saw one of my buddies floatin by. Watched him land a 21" rainbow on the fly rod.

 

Wasn't quite ready for the camera, got one weird looking face goin on lol, but she was a nice little chunk

 

How much did that hawg weigh. I loved florida for the simple fact that all those houses backed up to some little pond full of fish and you can get to every inch of the pond. I had a blast for the short time I was there. And caught a bunch of fish in February too.

 

At the time I was super happy and was thinking like a solid 7-8lber but looking back its prolly like a 5-6lber. Within an hour of fishing this pond with my buddy I caught two more that had to be a solid 3-4lbs each, and also 1 or 2 little guys. That was until the 6ish foot gator wanted to stop by right next to me and say hi scared my fish away lol. that and the usual 5 o'clockish predictable summer rains kicked in, so decided to call it quits for the day

 

Same stuff was going on in Ft. Pierce when I was there in Feb. I did not see any big alligators but I saw more then a few little ones. My wifes aunt and uncle were laughing at me telling me there were no alligators in their lakes. Thankfully my wife saw a few as well. It would have been cool to see a big one. My daughter would have gotten a kick out of it too. As long as it was safe for her.

I am thinking about doing some fishing at some point today. Hopefully it cools down though.

19in brown and nice 16in snake river cutthroat. Both caught on dry flies. Ate the cutty for dinner.
