    Small item that won't benefit you in any way until then. Until you know what leafs you are getting and how much plunge you are going to have they won't have any idea how much to shorten your driveshaft.

    Its off a 4x4, there not on a 2x4 Offroad.

    4x4 only came in access cab LB or double cab SB so yes it is shorter.

    My driveshaft length was fine with the Defined kit, but when I switched to the F70s, it had to be shortened more. Got lucky with that as you're better off doing it once when you figure out your rear set up.

    I'm not a good example of doing things once and being done with it though :(

    I need to ride/drive a SUA and a linked so I can decide... Also some one mentioned a linked spring under being a pretty good option... ?

    This is what I was referring to...

    Linked is obviously best, but SUA works well too, the 4 link will give you far more precise control since it is solidly located and cannot move outside its intended arch of travel, and leafs will deflect front to rear and side to side due to the nature of using a spring to control all movement.

    You can also do the SUA and use link bars as a cheaper option that will perform rather well actually..

    I've never heard of anything like that(besides that show bro truck).
    But if you are considering links you should get a cab cage done at the same time. Links aren't very DD friendly without a proper rear sway bar since you will have ALOT of lean.

    SUA is good for the road and much better offroad! Even with SUA you should consider a cab cage but with links its a must. Links are also much more involved than just a simple bedcage and leaf springs. I know american motorsports just came out with their 5 lug link kit retaining the bed but usually you cut the frame off completely after the cab, usually remove the bed, fuel tank, and axle. It requires a fuel cell(In CA it wont pass smog unless you know people:spy: ) It needs a beefier axle and usually a full bed cage. Thats just the little stuff i know about links :eek:
