Wonder if shock misalignment spacers would work or if we should just start over with new spindles... :notsure:

I see the three bolts but maybe he just put them back on because I'm positive that i dont see anything else there lol

See here DTFTacoma has the same thing but it connects to another plate which goes to those three bolts.

This is what i was thinking of but the pic above seems more related:p I guess there are multiple ways of mounting the shocks.

Are you talking about the pinion seal ? Of the gasket/seal for the 3rd member where it meets the axle housing?

Alright, so I'm having a suspension issue that I figure will be most suited to ask in this thread.

My truck has Camburg spindles and Bilstein 5100 set at 1.75".

Alright, so two days ago I installed a set of Total Chaos Uniball UCAs and Total Chaos Stock length LCAs. Before installation, I had no alignment issues., after installation I have about 2 degrees of negative camber. The tops of both tires tuck in severely. My alignment cams are maxed out, so getting another alignment isn't the fix.

So this morning I called Total Chaos and described to them my problem exactly. The guy said that the UCAs will only work with 2.5-3" of lift, and that since I was running only 1.75" of lift on the shocks that my truck wouldn't align properly. He said my options were to lift the truck more(which I don't want to do, I'm actually in the process of lowering it back down), putting the stock UCAs back on, or buying the heim joint uppers from TC.

Has anyone heard of this issue before? What are the suspension guru's take on this? Anybody have any suggestions?

    Thanks for the help,
    Hudson

    Uh wrong section?

Anyways why are you running the lift on the 5100s and a lift spindle? Thats really high. And yeah the spindles are made to be running at 0 lift so it would make since that you are maxed out

I just checked torque on the nuts and re serviced it. Haven't had anything leak out since. And I've been checking it religiously.

Yes I know I'm not LT, but then again all the suspension experts frequent this thread so im bound to to help quicker.

My truck sits perfectly level with the 5100s where they are and the all pro leafs in the back. And like I mentioned, I'm in the process of putting the truck back down, I don't like it where it sits now.

Before I installed the TC uppers, my alignment was fine with the spindles and 5100s at 1.75".

I wonder if my pinion angle is off...I'm trying to figure out why it started leaking all of a sudden other than just the seal going bad. I haven't done any off roading in a couple months

a little bit of seepage is not abnormal, if its leaking enough to leave a puddle then your seal needs to be replaced. Your truck is an 08 have you ever pulled the diff apart?
