ME AND BRYAN ARE LEAVING WED NIGHT AFTER WORK....
I CAN STAND BEING IN TRAFFIC....
whats everyone elses plans.....
if you guys are coming up thursday afternnon / night we can meet at a place called the cup n saucer and have a few drinks and some food... then head out...if not i will draw you all a map of said area and some cords.....
dont use the cords as your main directions "use them just as a refrence....

now any of you have any prefences as were u want to stay....
dont know how many people or tents and trucks are coming......
i love the outback site....
only drawback is its small...but real remote.....
its on a stream or brook "i think we have had 5 tents maz there
and i know you all have these monster tents "boyd excluded"

other option if it is not already taken is a huge site on a bit of a bigger stream/ river / brook if u will....
"but this site usally is always taken..." as everything is first come first serve.....
this siter is a bit more in civilization but still no neighbors.....
and finaly if all else fails there are a few sites that are huge we can grab....
or there is the old airport landing area..."which is now the main forest service camping area...."this is on the river and has toilets "outhouses"
much like wharton but a bit more secluded....but there will be other people there...and drinking is allowed.....this area is the closest to all recreation areas.....

also for them people who are bringing guns....thats all fine but dont go full retarded or you will be delt with......
laws are 150 yards from streams / campsites / roads / ect....
ill fill you in and take you to places we can shoot at will........
i will be brining my target and my .22 and a 12 gauge for protection from boyd and bears and what not
this is bear and moose country......
there are no ticks i have ever seen in vt so thats a plus......
now bugs thats another matter
i have never been up there at this time of year......

also what is the plan for food?
everyone bringing there own or what?
also vt is a wet state.... i have never been there were it has been dry the entire time...
that being said....
i am bringing my chain saw for fire wood.....

I was hoping to be at boyds by 730 -800 so we can leave by 9 and be in vt by 4 ish

 

Boyd can you get the rack off wenesday night so all we haz to do is put it on my truck?

I hope i get off at a decent hr on wednesday

 

it should take no more then 5 hours to get from philly to the fs. entrance...
as long as no traffic....
