Also the promo code will only work online, not in-store so you can always order online as "in-store pickup" and use it.

Some shit I got on craigslist
Hey there. I'm temped to order something from the site. Do you know anything about replacing a bottom bracket? When I put pressure on my left pedal it creaks pretty badly and I'm thinking the bearings in the bb may be squared. The pedals are newish and on tight, so I dont think that's where the creak is coming from. My bike has a 68 x 110 mm bb on there right now, what other info do I need to know before ordering a new one? thanks!

You need to know the type. External, internal, octalink, Isis, etc. etc. etc.

    Here's a link I found-

    seriously! haha

yeah im still a fan a 26" but i want to try a 29er out on a trail so bad even if its just a hardtail. I feel like a lot of companies are making the move to long travel 29ers for trail bikes. Scott did away with the 26" genius and only offer 650b and 29er. idk if that includes the LT or not but i assume so since they completely changed the suspension design for 2013. its only a matter of time before 26" is for the most part dead i feel except for like DH and freeride

I think it'll be a while yet. When you start seeing the department stores flooded with 29'ers, that's when you can start the death knell for 26'ers. I think you'll see even DH and freeride make the move. They're less responsive on turning, but roll easier on obstacles. I think you'll find a zero sum difference, and just for sake of ease and standards, if cross country and trail moves to 29'er, everyone will. 26 will still exist for the single speed and old school crowd.

I personally don't see a huge difference, so I think a lot of it is hype. I enjoy my 29'er, but the advantages I gain means I have to improve my skills for the disadvantages. Again, zero sum. I have to work less in some ways, harder in others. But then, I'm a weekend warrior (if I get out that much these days), it might be different for the people who consider the days they don't ride as recovery days.

i think most bikes up threw AM will definitely go 29er, DH for another thing ill say for without a doubt will never, 26" is the perfect tire size for a DH bike

On a different note then 26" vs 29"

Any of yah guys been out to China Peak (Sierra Summit, out by Fresno) this year? Went out last year and was extremely disappointed because its only about a 2.5hr drive from me in the summer. Well this year decided to go out last weekend with a few buddies and to be honest was pretty amazed on how much better it was then last year, we all brought our big bikes and it was actually pretty fun lots of variety, wasnt no Whistler or N* but was definitely worth the little money, for a 30 dollar lift ticket you cant go wrong if your near bye, id recommend checking it out. The place has sooooo much potential. Even Turpen is the trail coordinator this year and he is doing a really good job just with there budget they need people to get out there before it gets any better the main thing is just the water its pretty dry and is really a good training ground for cornering cuz of the traction, any way go out and check it out if your near bye super cheaper and definitely worth the cash and realy can be ridden on anything from a smaller trail bike to a downhill bike...check out some photos we took on Saturday.
