tips on LED dash swap

looking for helpful tips on replacing my dash lights to this

 

get someone who's real good at soldering.

edit: sounded not helpful, but seriously thats all there is to it.

 

You need to have a steady hand. Those LED's are pretty small. Other than that its pretty much remove old LED, replace with new one.

 

Be very careful.

 

use a pair of tweezers, and heat one size of the led and pull at a time.

remember and save yourself some time by making sure the little cut out on the leds are in the same spot as the stock ones once you remove the stock ones

 

this is a real great way to rip the pad off the board...

either use two irons at once, or solder braid to remove all the solder on one side first.
