    <--Jan. I'm the guy that came with the other guy wearing basketball shorts and a vneck shirt... In the stock White tacoma...

    Just got home too. All the people that turned around or didn't make it lost out. All the prerunners made it just fine. It did rain a lot and it was a STORM when we were at top, wind gust up to 60mph I believe. But half way into it, sun came out and it was beautiful. The rain made the run a lot more fun, had slippage even with 4x4, had bunch of mud puddles, 2 Tacomas were able to donuts and just tear up the mud at some opening ( I think derek got videos). Overall it was a good turn out and a good run.

    p.s. thanks again to the guy that let me ride in his tacoma when you were doing donuts and just tearing it up.

    Did any of you pass the toll road on the way to this meet? Irvine Ranch? Well I did...

    This is the first time i have EVER had to pass through a toll road, as I pull up, i stop at the booth - nobody is in there, so i start reading the signs, and as i'm sitting there, a couple of other cars blow through the gates w/o stopping. I figure, WTF, nobody here, the arms are up, maybe its juts a week-day thing, or something? So i took off.

    Weeeelllll, i just got a $50 ticket in the mail. mofo's.

    damn thats some shit... when i did the trabuco run i also ran into that trap of a toll. first time ever, but there was someone there collecting money. it was $2.25

    Check this out...the ticket i got in the mail for evading toll said my payment was due before 4/21/09 - so I log on to their site today to pay up, and their website says it's due before 4/30/09. Hell yes im going to keep my money as long as possible, so I call to find out which is it? 21 or 30? the lady im talking to stops and says " well what happened? i see that you stopped at the booth, but then you just took off? why?" so I told her my story (post #334).. she laughs and says shes just going to charge me $1.50 for the toll!! SCORE!!
