yep, left them in pretty much stock locations. I'll be doing some different geometry on them in the future, but still working it out and needed the truck drivable quickly so thats why I stayed pretty much stock geometry. its gotta wait a little longer til I get crazy with it.... :spy:

Looks good  I did the same thing on my 4runner made my flip kit out of stock 73-87 Chevy ubolts and Plates. Utilized the stock upper shock locations but burned in the lower shock mounts.

tiny bit of ground clearance gain next to the wheel. Best part is relocating the shocks to any way you want.

wish i was doing this now..

I've been thinking about making my own u-bolt flip here pretty soon when I re-do my rear suspension.... Did you go 1/4" plate? 3/8"? And I see those little angle ups at the ends on almost every kit I see... is there a reason for doing that rather than just cutting it off at the bend?

The arm rest part is the only vinyl part of the unit. And the dye will just soak in to the material. So pretty much went with vinyl dye for the vinyl part, and plastic paint for the plastic parts :)

    Question!

Gonna remove my rear axles from the housing. I know I have to disconnect the brake lines. Is there some way I can plug them while they are disconnected, or do I have to bleed the entire system and start over once the axles are re installed?

I think it has to do with when the leaf curls up

Tony check out MAFT pro translators and speed density. Should work. You could also build a mega squirt ecu.

You could plug them a bit to keep most the fluid but you will still have bleed them as air will still get in them

Gonna have to bleed the system either way I think... Simply due to the fact that I don't see how you're going to plug the lines without getting ANY air in them. I had mine pulled for about 2 or 3 days and I did nothing to seal up the brake lines. Not sure if I should have, but everything was fine after the system was bled. :notsure:

When I did my axle seals I was able to just zip tie the hole assy up to the bed and not unhook anything but i did tweek my line a bit.
