You will still have to blead the system when you put everything back together, BUT to help fluid loss and the mess it creates, I get those little vacuum rubber caps from an auto parts store and place those over the end of the line.

I've read that OEM spark plugs in the V6 should be replaced every 30,000 miles. I bought my 04 PreRunner used, with 128,000 miles on it. The dealer gave me a print out on the maintenance on the truck since new, but I didn't see anything about plugs. I could hear a faint miss at idle, but the truck gets a consistent 18 mpg highway/city driving. Not knowing when the plugs were last changed, I finally got around to getting a set of Toyota (Denso) plugs from the dealer. I pulled a Denso plug from the driver's side that had a nice color but there was a lot of wear on it. When I got to the passenger side, the plugs were NGK.

I have read posts about trucks having Denso on one side and NGK on the other, when new. That makes me wonder if these are the original plugs with 132,000 miles on them? If they are, I think that $21.00 for Denso plugs that will run for 130,000+ miles are a pretty good buy. It will be interesting to see if the gas mileage improves any.

 

where'd you put the plug? I put mine where one of the plate lights goes, fit perfectly.

 

Had my windows tinted to 20%. Also got new rims V-TEC Raptor 16x8.
