Very easily done, emblems stay on the truck.

I have that exact same Stanley jumper. I know a lot of these are crap, but I've had nothing but great performance from this one. I just make sure to charge it once a month and it works perfectly. Even the compressor works great for filling my bike tires.

    OK

    I got somewhat lucky...

The dealership had the new blower motor in stock, and the latest one too (#87103-04043)...they were able to get me in w/o an appointment. it took all of an hour and a 1/2. Seems fine so far.

The console door will be replaced under warranty, and had to be ordered.

The headlight..."I own it", the service writers words. I didn't put up much of a fight on it...but I still believe it should be replaced under warranty. I may revisit it with them when I go back for the console door install.

While there, I looked at a 2012 TRD off road double cab 4x4 in Silver...loaded. damn, the upgrades are nice compared to my 2010 SR5. I almost bought it on the spot. But, I cooled my jets.

The also replaced the cabin filter (damn that was dirty) and the intake filter under the hood (also dirty)

no labor charged on the cabin filter (because they already had the glove-box/dash apart). but they charged me 14.95 to replace the intake filter...I believe after thinking about it, I got took on the intake replacement labor...they had it apart to show me the dirty one...I did not ask them to look at it...they had to either put the dirty one or a new one back.

    yeah, I got took for 14.95 :(

That's...why they are called "stealerships" :D

Pull those mudflaps while they still look good and sell them on Ebay. They will all break off eventually and the back right one will wrap itself around your tail pipe and make a mess.

I had the running boards too at the request of the wife, no kiddies here. After one day of dragging my leg across it they came off and got sold on Craigslist. The guy that bought them said once his son can get up in there by himself he was gonna pull them too!

Truck looks great, Best color IMO for a Tacoma. Not too hot, road splash doesn't show well, blends in with the colors around here real well.

I had the mudflaps but need it up here with the sanded and salted roads in the winter. My side steps were for the wifey as well. I've rubbed the skin of my shins a couple times. I think I may plasti derp them as well as the rear bumper. I love the color as well. The black and pyrite looks "military" like to me.

I agree on the running boards...I don't agree on the the mud flaps. I've had my truck for 2 years, and have never had issues with them...Although I don't go off road either. The fronts have scrapped a few times going over curbs or drop-offs.

Also, I saw a 2012 today that had the Toyota "predator" step bars. kinda look like sliders with small steps at each door. you can actually step in and out of the truck and they are not in the way.

Still deployed... Had the wife go out in the garage and show me my truck on FaceTime.. Poor thing hasn't been driven since I left, and she won't drive in fear of scratching it or getting into some trouble.. LOL

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
idk about the mud flaps. i have just my rear on. and have not ripped them off at all. i have been off road 10 or so times in bast 2 months. i even bent the 7 pin plug for the trailer lights. but still have not messed up my flaps. i have not even messed them up on curbs and stuff in parking lots. i have gone over about 5. one of them i almost bottomed out on. it was about 4 or 5 feet wide, and had grass i went right between 2 trees.

but i do agree the front are to long! they came off on day 3.

I installed an afe stage II CAI on my 2012 X-Runner. It runs great and you can really hear the supercharger whine at WOT! Wooooot. AFR is nominal.

Thanks. Yeah, it's a blast, alright. Loads of passing power - even in OD. And you gotta love that supercharger whine. It's an aphrodisiac!

I sold my paid-off motorcycle to buy it and I don't have one moment's regret. My X is real quick now and there are zero drivability issues with the s/c. If I stay out of the boost (yeah, right...), the mpg is about the same.
