Smoke the turn signal lenses please! They will stand out too much on the black and probably turn yellow over time anyways if left clear.

Get these things made, have half a dozen trips left this year with the trailer.

    Thanks!

I agree, smoke the turn signals. Seems they'll blend in better that way.

    tonneau,
I would buy these if they were black and the price is right. Heat wouldn't be needed. I like the turn signals.

    .
I really like these mirrors a lot. If they are high quality, they will sell a lot of them.

IMO ... the present Tacoma mirror (without convex lens) is one of the main draw backs for the Tacoma. I really liked the "tow mirrors" on my 2007 Tundra.

Just make sure that they are high quality and word of mouth will spread fast (especially on sites like TW). ... :D

PS ... When will they start selling them in other finishes (besides chrome) ... i.e. black or paintable surface ??

Will do once the truck is purchased
I like the mirrors but I wonder if they have the same price tag that the Dodge ones do, if so pretty spendy, almost $400 for a pair. I do however miss my heated mirrors that I had on my Dodge. Wanting to go to a Taco much better mpg all the way around. As for the one who thinks you'd need to haul a longer load to need these has obviously never towed one of those fast turning small trailers that uses a car-top clam shell for a little extra space. You can't see the trailer behind you unless you turn real sharp to see it. So yes these mirrors would be a great add on to any vehicle.

I currently have one mirror that I bought from Walmart that I used on my last travel trailer (7 feet wide) for the passenger side only. Driver side, I didn't need it. For an 8 ft wide, I am ok without driver side mirror? Will need to tow 90 miles home today. Trailer is 22ft long from rear bumper to tongue.

Have you road tested them yet?

How are they with the trailer attached, is there good visibility on both sides with the trailer connected?

Also, are they steady at low and high speed? in either positions.

When you say they fold, so you mean they fold flush with the door?

    Thanks,

Going to PA tomorrow pulling my pop up camper (I know these mirrors are overkill for that) I haven't hooked up or pulled the snowmobile trailer yet but I believe these will work great when pulling something that wide. As far as the folding, yes they fold from the outward - standard position to a folded near the door position.

Thanks. Let us know how they are on the highway. I use the Mckesh mirrors and they are good but not as steady as I would like.
