I got plenty of wood, just no place to put it. My truck will be packed. No pallets the are treated with too many chems to cook on. We will have to get wood up there in the woods or buy it.

joe if i remember correctly your not very far from my house why don't i just come down to your house and we load my truck up with wood?

IMO you will spend more money on gas and tolls driving to Joe's and hauling it to VT then if you just bought some local when we get there

Hell it's $5 in tolls alone just to cross the bridge. Last trip Joe and I got over a bed full of wood for less then $40.

 

How the hell are you going to have room with 3 peeps? I wont have room with 2 peeps.

I'm sure we can... the economy sucks everywhere and selling wood is a good way to make some cash.

 

This sounds fun.................I would love to go shooting and fishing........maybe rent some kayaks with me and the GF.

WOW......never seen a road get so destroyed

 

We had some serious rain fall up here. Parts of Route 2 in MA were washed out and some ramps are still closed.

 

we go out and collect our own firewood.....
we dont pay for firewood in a forest
end of story

yea vt, nh got hammered.......
i was up there 2 days after the storm and wow..... route 9 wiped out.....not to mention just about everything else.......

 

i was already planning to borrow sheppy's trailer so all our gear will be in the bed of the truck under the cover, kayak and wood in the trailer. its 15 worth of gas an tolls. and yea i will prob get shittier gas milage on my way up but remember pre runner so i get better gas milage then all you guys anyway plus i got to other ppl to help split the slightly high gas. individually it shouldn't be much more.

 

I would have to drive through mass to get there.....how would I bring my pistols........Break it down?

fahk....thought so. We had this debate with a retired state trooper who taught my permit class. For people who have a vaca home or whatnot in VT but live in CT or RI. He actually said if you just drive through...no stops and have it totally broke down and in seperate lock boxes you would ok(at ur own risk of course lol whatever that meant...maybe he fig cops wouldnt be dicks about it if they were like that? idk). Kinda sux.....You would think if the gun was totally dissasembled and in seperate cases with no ammo present you would be allowed to travel throught......damn LAWS all i got is pistols
