    id tell them if there running a 5 channel amp for two 12 that they are dumb for doing so plus tell them its a bad place to mount the amp because he gets absolutly no air what so ever. tell them to mount it on the sub box or make you one like this

    i think he said hes on 0 gauge and the grounds not long but the amps getting no air and is getting over loaded... its like a baby in a garbage bag trying to bench press 100lbs.

    its under back seat with no air flow what so ever & what would be my best option a different amp along with new box design they have all channels used up i think they running all speakers thru it

    why? the head unit can take car of all the stock speakers with no problem. i would tell them to but a mono amp in and change the box

    If he has components they'll blow a head unit. Have to run an amp with components. Coaxials are fine though. And the amp needs To be moved. Possibly larger power wire.

    How so? I have had component front speakers for years hooked into my head unit with nothing more than a passive crossover. As long as the numbers are right nothing will blow.

    Some head units won't take it. I've seen a few Sony and pioneer cook the internal amps runnin components.

    i talked to ken at apple hill he's assuring me that changing my speakers will solve my problem im still having them install two fans thru my cargo area.

    thats kyron's dub....that thing is super ghetto, his camber is set off by pulling the plates and putting in longer bolts with a bolt inbetween.
