09 tailgate lock

I know there is a group buy on this and I am just curious about the time line of the lock itself. Any word of when it will be coming out? Last I read here was late April. Is that still a go?

 

I would love to get a tailgate lock for my 09. That is one thing that should of come standard on these trucks. I was looking at the popnlock tailgate locks but i'm not sure if it works with the 09 tacomas that have a backup camera like mine does.

 

What other mid-sized truck models does the lock come standard on?

I keep hearing people say that but I have yet to see stock locks on tailgates (for mid-sized truck lines).


Regardless, there are no other options. You have to be patient and wait for them to release it. I can understand if you were debating between the soon-to-be-released popNlock and another brand. But there is no other brand. Be patient...they'll get there!

Don't the Frontiers have stock tailgate locks? I thought I noticed that while shopping, but I could be wrong.

Hi just wondering about your floor mats on your Tacoma. Bought mine last august and she had no carpet mats in her and the salesman said that they are not available on the 2009's yet so he gave me these all season mats that came out of a corolla. Till this day i still don't have them. Did your's come with carpet mats??
