you mean about the part where we steamrolled through vancouver and st louis and that even though those teams look good on paper they're really not that tough and therefore the Kings had an easy road. Yeah I guess, I mean Canucks were pretty easy and St Louis was super easy, so ya he's right those teams suck

Still waiting for the Pens to fill in the gaps that Staal and Michalek left. Something like 14mil in cap space with nothing to show for it. Looks like Doan is staying in PHX, Pens have nothing ANA needs for Ryan. They need to do something or this team is significantly worse than last yr. I wouldnt mind seeing Iggy in his twilight yrs making 1 last run. You know it's not gonna happen in Calgary.

Only on D. Despress and Morrow are aparantly NHL ready but it's not like they're Pronger caliber players. They have nothing up front in the system. They picked up Tangradi in the Kunitz trade and he's their best shot at making the club and he's pretty terrible. Only when most of the team is injured does he get a shot and it's usually on the 4th line. That being said, they had 2 1st rnders this yr and picked up 2 D, and in the trades they picked up 2 more D prospects. As of now Crosby's line will be Pascal Dupuis and Tyler Kennedy? They have a lot of D prospects they can move, but they gotta do something or its another early playoff departure for this club.

Flyers draft pick charged with killing referee, burying body

From time to time (okay, regularly), we've all yelled an obscenity towards an official or even threatened a ref with a potential beat down, but while there have been some occasions where the zebras have been attacked, what Ladislav Scurko takes things to a different level.

The Philadelphia Flyers sixth-round pick in 2004 has been charged with murder after being accused of stabbing referee Marek Liptag 14 times back in January 2008 over a monetary dispute. Liptag's remains weren't found until this past December in Slovakian forest.
Scurko played for Spisska Nova Ves, his home city team as well as the Western Hockey League's Seattle Thunderbirds. He began playing professionally in 2007 with HC Kosice of the Slovakian Extraliga where he won the league title this past season. Scurko also played for Slovakia at two U20 World Championships and two U18 World Championships.
The former Flyers prospect faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted and would be released when he turns 43 at the latest, or when Chris Chelios finally retires from the NHL.

As a Pens fan, I pray for that too. I've watched too many Pens vs Caps games to give that guy any respect. Completely heartless, effortless, no will to win.....Should be a perfect fit in NY!
