    Well, she's responsive now, which is good... For about 45 minutes after I got home, I was petting her and she didn't move at all. Now I can tell she's sleeping and will move an eye or foot if I touch her. Question is, she came home with pain meds.... they said 2x a day, but didn't say to start tonight or tomorrow morning. don't want to double dose her if she already got some :eek: or if the after effects of the anesthesia would react to the other meds.... :notsure:

    That's what I was leaning toward...

    No... This is the first dog I've had where they give you pain meds. i can always get up and give them to her....

    I should have asked, but I was so upset at her condition, that the thought of when to give them to her slipped my mind. Thought it would be on the discharge sheet, but nope....

    If she's in great pain, yes... otherwise she'll just want comfort. Think she'd wake me up if she's too uncomfortable. The pills are supposed to make her drowsy and she's already drowsy.... Kind of afraid to add one on top of the other... Kind of a darned if I do and darned if I don't. :notsure:
