Plan was next Sunday. But I'm game for putting it off so more people can go. Let's set a date and time and do it

I haven got a email, but if you want them I'll do $160. They do look good, and if you don't want the chrome you could always plastic dip them or I could do that for you. You can text me if you want 770-301-6096

For the meet up, can we try not to make it on the 22,28,29 of this month, I am going on a cruise and I really want to be able to come out. How about August 4th or 18th?

Great, so lets make this happen!

I am thinking we should do it on a sunday, because I know im not the only one that has to work on saturday, and sunday would be easier for everyone to meet up I would think. Does that sound good for everyone?

So if sunday is good, How about August 19?

Lets just go with August 19th. If you check Georgia Overland the guy's actually got map files you can download for google earth of dirt roads he's actually driven. There's one he calls the Big Frog loop thats about 80 miles of unpaved roads. From what it sounds like, its a good spot for all vehicles. When its rainy/snowy up there you may need a 4wd or high clearance vehicle but its drivable in what we all have including those with pre-runners.

    From his blog post
    http://www.georgiaoverland.com/2010/01/cohutta-and-big-frog-wilderness-loop.html
"In dry weather, stock 2WD vehicles should have very little difficulty driving this loop, though portions of the trail may require careful tire placement. A high(er) clearance AWD vehicle would be quite comfortable on this trail. In wet weather, the loop may be considerably more interesting and likely would require a high clearance AWD or 4WD vehicle."

That may be an option since its kind of up in the area that you're suggesting if my google map searches are accurate.

Yeah, we should probably start a thread. Seems like enough interest. August 19th sounds good to me. I think Sunday's for most people are best. If not lets try and make it work for everyone interested in going so we can have the biggest turnout possible. I mapped this road your talking about. https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=34.783849,-84.202223&spn=0.057029,0.077162&t=m&z=14
I know I asked before, but what type of terrain are we talking about? I'm still running stock, 2WD. For now, but that will change. Have you drove it? Just want to know what to expect.

So is this in north Georgia or south Georgia? If I can make it (I really hope that I can) I'd be coming from Chattanooga and don't mind a little light wheeling. Also is anyone on here/anyone on here know the guy that drives a access cab sport, silver Tacoma, probably 06-08 year model. He's got a spacer and AAL lift, chrome billet grill, 2 hid lights behind the grill, and duratracs. His names robert and used to work at boss van near me, used to go by there and talk about life and trucks every couple of weeks but didn't get to find out where he was goin before he stopped workin there. I just owe him a huge thank you and appreciate him bein kinda like a brother too me for a little bit. He's a good guy and hope to see him at a meet sometime.

I'm pretty sure that's the road Iceman is talking about. Matches his description.
