    Ive been thinking about getting 4.56's, what companies are there that are good reliability wise? What do you imagine it would cost to have Toyota do it if it was cost? :spy: Ive never actually looked into gearing at all

    I was going to ask the same thing, a few 2nd gens want my 4.10's, I would take the 4.56's, so Im just the middle man. Who wants to pay Ollie for his 4.88's and you'd get my 4.10's? :D

    Fuck Nitro and their shitty ass gears. Pro Dirt in Barstow set them up on point. They turned into shit in 9 months. I should jave known gears with a 2 year warranty were shit. All pre loads and tolerances were in spec. Nitro are garbage, dont waste the money, Superior axle and gear ftmfw.

    Edit: my apologies for the harsh words but I am passionately pissed off at the lack of quality and craftsman ship Nitro put into their product. Their master rebuild kit didn't even has the right size shims and had horrible thickness selection. The 6 lug third members have two different pinion shim sizes and Nitro didn't even account for that in their kit. All said and done it took shims from a precision gear kit to finish within specification and then the warning got issued to me that owning Nitro gears was a flip of a coin for success.

    The rears are the same but the actual size of the ring gear is 8.25 but 8.4 is the accepted selling size.
