    Honestly I hasn't looked into aftermarket ones. If mpthe skyjacker leafs I got don't work well even will my aal And maybe another leaf. I'm just going t shell out for custom Alcans cause I know those will do exactly what I want.

    Wheel, yes.

    Haul, not so much anymore but I used to pull a Kubota BX23 mini backhoe on a 16' trailer daily. Way too much weight for this truck even with trailer brakes. Hence, why I bought a Cummins.

    Edit: Don't get me wrong, I need new rear leaves just as much as the next guy but they are not terrible.

    Already posted in the "What have you done today" thread, but plastering this here for posterity.

    So. I went from OME 881's with ~1 year of use/13k miles. To Toyec/Eibach 112-620's up front. In the rear, i had bought the Wheelers 5-Pack on a group buy at the same time as my 881's.

    I installed the 2" AAL from Wheelers, and 3* axle shims from Toytec. (Little did i know, the shims actually gave me .25/.5 of additional lift as they're basically small tapered blocks.) The 2" AAL apears to have given me closer to 2.5, At first it was a solid 3, but after about 45 miles, they've settled and i'm relieved. I figure with my topper on or a full load, the 2.5 will quickly settle to 2" which is exactly what i wanted. While we were in there, i replaced the inner and outer tie rods. Inners are Napa's high end line, outers are Moog greasables.

    Also - there's a video another member linked to that works AMAZING for swapping coils. Obviously, attempt at your own risk, but for us, everything went smoothly and it was way easier than using a spring compressor (which we used to install the 881's) or paying someone to swap the coils. http://youtu.be/vkVLBOnAifc

    haha, yeah thanks for clearing that up.

    Doubletake, i'm not too keen on shipping tires/wheels all the way to LA. But if you or anyone else in the midwest feels like meeting up to take them off my hands, i'm willing to part with them and move my new tire/wheel combo purchase up a few months.
