    Just had a great meal at Buddakan in Ceasar's. $200 for 4 of us. You share which is good. Tax was not good. There were taxes I'd never heard of beside the sales tax. State tax, luxury tax, liquor tax, city tax, tax on tax, etc.

    who in their right mind goes to AC for the beach? it's a shit hole... go 2-3 towns south for a real beach.

    $50 a head for dinner isn't bad at all. When I used to hang at AC all my friends were degenerate gamblers so I used to take their VIP cards in which case we paid for nothing. Gray Goose on tap chilled for free = :)

    I have never once witnessed nor know anyone directly who has actually received one of these mythical comps in my life. I'm pretty sure it's made up by casinos to make people think if they gamble enough they'll give you shit.

    Everyone I know that gets comps only gets them for slow days during the week in the slow months, and not by choice but by when the casino decides to offer them one.

    And you have to spend a lot of money.

    I just have no desire to go there at all.

    Your not hanging out with real gambling degenerates then. My one buddy can walk in the door and get a 15k line of credit at the snap of his fingers. Free rooms, front row seats at concerts, etc. You need to be a baller to get the free stuff, but it's there. I also have 2 friends who play poker for a living and they always get good stuff. Even more now that they actually have to play at the casinos because they lost TONS of money when the Fed raided their bank accounts and seized their money from online playing.

    Your average Joe blow spending 3k once a year on a bender won't get squat ever.

    We are 2-3 towns south in Ocean City NJ. Very clean. Nice safe area.

    We also eat at Steve & Cookie's in Margate. Very good. About $250 for 4 of us. One drink was $12. I'm looking to scale down on the $$ for the rest of the week and still get a good meal. As Donna Summer sang "Working hard for the Money" and it sure spends easy.
