long time lurker, first time poster. I didn't see this in any threads yet, so yeah...

ARB USA just posted this pic on their facebook. That looks like a 2012 Taco headlight & grille to me.

    :D

That's the Oakley Taco...the Oakley warehouse and headquarters is half a mile from my house, so I see this truck everywhere.

Technically yes, but that was a custom 2011 bumper modified to fit a 2012 front end, done months ago.

    This is good news!

Edit-Is it just me or does the bumper look like it's just sitting in front of the truck? Almost like its no attached.

There is paint beneath the grill from the plastic bumper so I would say it was "staged" for the photo.

    Inquiring minds want to know...
    Is it real?
    (looks staged)

    I'm waiting for a 2012 ARB too!:(

(maybe they're taking lessons from WeatherTech:rolleyes:)

Can't you use the factory recovery points with the ARB?

I have an ARB on my 2010 4Runner and yes you can use the factory recovery points. What I miss about the newer ARB's is the clevis mounting points directly on the ARB vs using the factory ones. My 2003 Tacoma has an ARB that has two clevis mounting points.

    A few bolts are different.
Not unless you have the Off Road tow hook or cut the ARB skid to get full access to the factory loop. In either case that is still not the same as d ring mounts.

this is how it is on my sport at least...
