About to be heading there for the first time. We are staying for a week at a cottage.

    Anyone have feedback, info, tips?

    Thanks!

It's a beautiful place, if you have kids you should take them to pine mountain safari. Rent a vehicle though please dont take your truck

Very nice place. Was just there last week. The lake is very nice this time of year. The gardens and horticulture center are also in full bloom right now.

Mobile is where we are stopping on the first night, on our way to Callaway. Any restaurant recommendations?

    Thanks,

What kind of food do you like? We have a lot of fresh seafood along the causeway. Original Oyster House is good, as well as Felix's. Both are just off I-10 so should not be far out of your way.

When you get here if you like mexican food go to San Marco's in Pine Mountain. Best food in the whole city possibly the county. The Huddle House there sucks ass. The Aspen Grill is over priced. For lunch I recommend The Whistling Pig Cafe or Three Little Pigs restaurants. Look for our Ambulances and those are the places to eat. :D Callaway is beautiful this time of year. Take the kids to see the FSU circus it's in Callaway right when you go in the beach entrance off Hwy 27.
