They had like 3 or 4 left. I'll probably swing by on Friday on the way and grab one. I think I'll also get one of those mesh collapsible bait/fish holders with the floating lid so we can keep the bluegills fresher.

I'm good to go up to Sportsman's Warehouse in the morning when they open if you want to meet up there. I still have to "work" but I'll have my email on my phone in case of any fires I have to put out without my laptop.

I think it would be fun to try one of thoes bait casting nets for the blue gill One of the 15 foot ones. The net time I can make it I'll try to bring one of thoes.

Exactly what I was thinking, but I am horrible at throwing those things. I can never get a good full spread and get it out far enough. There's always someone in a group that has a knack for it naturally though, it's just never me. I'd love to get a netfull of those shad when they start coming in, too. Even dead, those make great cut bait.

I can throw them pretty well buddy. I used to use one all the time until I tore it on some rocks (at Bartlett oddly enough lol). Just never replaced it

OP updated with a link to the exact spot where we will be (and where we were last weekend). I also made a nice picture with fancy colored arrows if the map still isn't good enough. This is where we will be unless this point is full of people.

didnt read this whole thread but if anyone has a shad net just go down to the local golf course, throw that bitch in there and in about 10 minutes you will have more bluegill to know what to do with.
