What was he banned for? It seems to me that he and the other member had differing opinions but thats it. He wasnt using profanity or insulting the other members. He had an opinion that wasnt the same as the other people and he was expressing that. Apparently im missing something...

Not true. I got a DUI when I was 20.. Never, not once, drove again after having a sip of booze again in my life. It was a very expensive lesson to learn but I learned it.

Except you cannot give a good reason for it except, for what I'm guessing, is a misconstrued view of the world and justice system.

Seriously, I can't fathom how you could be serious. It's seriously ranks up there with some of the most asinine things I've ever read on internet.

I can only assume that he wasn't the drunk one since he was able to take and then post the pictures of his truck and the skid marks :notsure:

His insistence that he would argue with everyone, no matter what, until the thread was closed is clearly not in line with the CoC - where his objection to this thread was less clearly supported. He chose to report the thread AND continue to instigate-when told to chill out- He didn't.

You need to read the thread instead of just instigating...

That's why I told him in my first post to delete the thread and talk to no one. OP didn't heed my advice.

You need to fight charges, usually they'll bring a bunch of charges against you in order for you to plea out to something lower.

What's better, fighting it and having a chance to plea to a lower offense, or, have the book thrown at you right away? While in the process throwing away your rights afforded to you as a American.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
His purpose changed from a disagreeing opinion (which there is no problem with) to intentionally trying to get a thread closed because he feels it needs to be closed. It's only temporary.

There is a bar in Fargo, ND that gives out 20% off coupons if you leave your ride in the lot overnight for being responsible.

    That's a smart BAR!!
I will agree with what others have mentioned -
if it were me i would wait until after trial to speak of this matter publicly. But i can understand the anxiety to show people etc... I'm not sure but i think the penalty for DUI in Oregon is pretty intense. I have many friends/family(Mother) who drink and drive which drives me crazy!! It's amazing how some people can be so smart in business and life, yet they think with just a couple beers no harm done...What can we do...
