My problem with this is "What is truth?". Under what definition are we philosophizing?

The question was "is" there absolute truth. That means any absolute truths. It doesn't need further definition. Does one exist? There has to be at least one, so the answer must be yes.

The more we debate it, the more it is proven. The question is almost too general to debate.

When in doubt, the answer is always Johnny Cash.

Actually, based on that definition, you would have to say yes because it is a fixed, invariable, unalter fact that there are absolutely no square circles and no round squares. Otherwise you are saying that there are indeed square circles and round squares. By definition circles are a plane curve generated by one point moving at a constant distance from a fixed point. If it could be square, then that would mean the curve was not at a constant distance from the fixed point, and hence, not a circle.

I'll take Willy. Cash was good and lived a nice life. But Willy keeps getting harassed by "the man"

is this what 'hijacking a thread' is? I sure hope not, would hate to do that.:(
but thank you SS! I wish I could claim it as my own but it's from a Stephen King book.. I think. Some guy getting questioned and he answers every question with 'Johnny Cash'.
NOT that I don't love Johnny and Waylan, Willy and the boys.

But anyway, my offical "stay on topic" answer would have to be.... Snorkle

:threadjacked: We have this for a reason. Thread jacking is a TW pastime. It's bigger than baseball. We actually have an entire thread devoted to thread jacking. (STAY ON TOPIC)

    Welcome to TW!!!
