I realize that you have a bunch of stragglers but I think that you are well above the number to make the discount buy. Give the stragglers a cut off date and do the deal. You have been more than generous with your terms.

BTW, thanks for all of your efforts Daniel.

Yes there is only one more person I am going to let order and that is because he needs me to ask Pop N Lock a question. I mean there are payments in the mail now on their way then we should be set

Where are we on the order? The buy closed eight days ago, seems to me that there has been more than ample time for folks to get there payment in. Anyone that has not yet done so should be dropped from the purchase! The wait is starting to outweigh the $15 saved...

Yes, and how many months is P & L pushing back the PL5003 production?

Not ragging you Daniel but just concerned about P&L draging ass. I have done the hose clamp mod on my Taco but I am still concerned everyday when leaving the truck in public parking.

Place the order Daniel. When is the cutoff? Eight days sounds like ample time.

Okay still no update so I will be the first to be an A$$! This "buy" ended over a week ago, as the person facilitating the group buy you have a responsibility to get our order made in a timely manner. If someone else did not pay then well I guess they don't get one. If this order is not in by the time I get home tomorrow then I will give you until next Friday to return the funds I sent you via paypal before filing a grievance. I will then get this part elsewhere. The savings are simply not worth, hell even the time I have taken to type this. Fact is you are sitting on at least $2,500 of members money and all we want is the product we paid for in the terms we agreed to. I paid almost a month ago if not sooner. To me when you said the buy ended on the 8th I took that as have you money in because I am ordering this on the 9th. Overall thanks for all the time and I know your heart is in the right place Daniel however you can't wait for everyone. PLACE THE ORDER!!!!!

I don't expect it soon. It'll take time for Dgerm to get them from the manufacturer , Then time for him to mail them. The order is close to $3,000 So if my new math is right, there are at least 800 orders for dgerm to mail out. So I am waiting patiently.

I completely understand the time constraints and the fact that it will take time to get them from the manufacture. My concern is that to my understanding the order has not been placed to P & L as of now. So we could all be looking at mid summer before we get them. The date from the original buy was pushed back and I did not complain however this is getting a little old. If the order is made and possibly a tracking # posted from P & L to Daniel then I too will wait however my math has 72 paid for so I think we can place the order. If I am out of line by all means tell me, I just think everyone should get what they agreed too.

Dgerm / Daniel, Thank you very much for all the hard work you are doing on this group buy. I for one, want you to know that I appreciate it.

To Those in a hurry. Group Buys are awesome ways to save some money. I realize that I am saving about $50 and most others aren't saving that much. But I see no reason to be firing off at Daniel.

It appears that Daniel has done everything right. He has closed the group buy. He may be waiting on a few funds, but the biggest thing is that he is waiting on is P&L and the 2009 Lock that works with the camera. These locks look like the majority of this group buy.

I for one will wait as long as it takes and I also TRUST Daniel with my money. If people get upset over this time issue, no one else will ever want to do a group buy due to the work and HASSEL dished out here.

    THANK YOU AGAIN DANIEL!

Everyone else, please be patient. Life is too short to waste energy on this.

PS. I do not know Daniel Personally. Just my two cents worth.

Agreed and by all means I am not trying to be hard to get along with. By all means if the people in this buy feel that I am being an ass then please feel free to say so. It is not my intention to cause friction or to blast off at Daniel. I know these things take time and are hard to do. If the camera locks will take such a long time to get then they should have been placed on a separate order. The thing that I think is a shame is if someone looses a tailgate while waiting for a part that has been purchased for an extended period of time. I have a pretty extensive history in sales and buying aftermarket products. To me I feel as though the feet are starting to drag on this group buy. Overall to Daniel PLEASE do not feel like I am raking you over the coals (yes I know in some ways I am) just keep us informed!

JJ Customs, I didn't quote you, because I wasn't singling you out. You have some valid points.

Here is my fear. Usually if one or two start trashing someone, it’s like a free for all and everyone jumps on.

I think it is acceptable to ask for updates. I just didn’t want to see this thing turn sour.

No hard feelings, just trying to keep things balanced and fair.

Completely understood and was not trying to come off as combative. I would have been just as well served if I had simply asked for information. Such as: When do you foresee placing the order? How long do you expect it to take before you have the time to get the orders out after you have received it? Overall please just understand everyone wants some info!

Yeah...it's not :D Drop a zero...he has 80+ orders to repack and ship.

He said right off the bat that one order will be placed and one order will be shipped to him. According to Pop N Lock website, the 5300 (for the 2009's) is not available yet. Expected by "late April".

You are welcome to call them as well and ask about their production expectations.

I think he's done a good job of keeping us posted, and I appreciate what he's doing for us. I can wait for a good deal.

I'm really in no rush and I have no issue with the GB so far but I do agree that the deadline should have been set for money in hand. I’ve sold stuff on eBay before and was paid by money order. It sometime takes two weeks for the money order to arrive if the sending didn’t expedite the package.

Live and learn, next time (if there is a next time) I’m sure it’ll be much smoother. BTW I’ve done a few GB myself and know it’s a pain the ass to lead up.

I spoke with P&L this morning while placing an order and was told that the PL5200's are about 2 weeks out and the 5300's are looking at around mid May...

But, on the 5200's keep in mind your GB isn't the only order for them and you may not get all yours in one shipment...

Generally P&L does ship stuff as they get it though so the 5200's won't have to wait on the 5300's...

Ok here is the deal. The price shoots up if we donot order altogether. They can only freight them down here and the freight is free above a certain level. Not to mention the size of the order makes it such a deep discount. IF you don't want to wait I have no problem refunding your money, that is one less lock I wont have to repackage and ship out on my own time. They are expected mid may.
