Laughed till I cried, that is some funny shit. Try the small guy on Top Gear, he tried I believe an old Renault and had a helluva time. Couldn't get enough heat in the brakes to stop properly.

 

Go to Autoweek.whatever, they have an inseat, eye level vid. The sound sux but the shot is cool. It may be Spa. Look under racing.

 

Anyone know were to watch the replay online of this weekends F1 race in germany ? Im on call for work so i wont be around.

Just an observation for my American F1 friends who have to watch the races on Speed or Fox .

You guys get jacked .

I've never seen a race on either channel before as they are blacked out in Canada for the live showing of the event , but I watched a bit of the rebroadcast of the race tonight on Speed .

In Canada the races are broadcast by TSN , which shows the BBC feed .

The races are shown live , and during the commercial breaks it goes to a split screen , commercial on the right , race on the left , so you never miss any of the race . I also noticed the Speed / Fox commercial breaks to be longer than the TSN / BBC feed as there was some stuff I saw on the TSN feed that was missed during extended commercial breaks on the Speed / Fox broadcast .

 

That is how ABC/ESPN shows the INDY Series and NASCAR

 

Just finished watching the Speed / Fox rebroadcast , there are for sure way more commercial breaks , and no trophy ceremony ? Do they not usually show the podium ceremony ?

 

Yeah Fox blows. Right at the end of the race it went straight to some retarded show car crazy.

The split screen would be nice.

So you think he should have hit Button just to stay on track?

 

He should have , and his team should have told him , to let Button back past , it happens all the time

He would have still had a chance to get by and even if he couldn't he would have finished 3rd with no penalty , rather than 5th

 

I thought it was fine. Not ideal but fine.

 

You can't pass with all 4 wheels outside of the track , same thing as cutting a corner to gain an advantage

Red Bull could hear the radio transmissions from Button to his team and that the team had informed the stewards to look into the pass , they should have instructed him to let Button back through , it's pretty cut and dried
