    I think they are really considering giving B. Bennett a chance to step into the NHL. If he can come into camp in good condition we may see him on the 1A line with Sid.

    I also agree that Tort is a poor coach. He does win BUT any coach who benches his top forward in the Playoffs has a screw or two loose.

    I read an atricle that said Bennett was still recovering from wrist surgery and still not 100%. After trading Staal and Z and nothing to fill up the cap space, this team is a lot worse than last yr. THe Pens will have 2 rookies on D to start.

    ^14 year 110 mil contract plus they will have to give up a handful of first round draft picks... I think they are over paying just abit which seems to be the norm for this years free agency

    Yeha they do, but nobody is gonna take Bryz and his contract off their hands. THey could go after THomas or Luongo but then they would have 10mil in payroll for just goaltending!

    If they do get Weber though, the Pens will be forced to counter somehow. With the Rangers, Flyers all strong teams the Pens will be slipping. Still dont know how the fuck they can get him on the cap though

    No one wants Bryz, even Philly, but we are stuck with him. 4 first round picks is worth it. The Flyers have a full roster of young talent that will be our future for the next 5+ years. Weber will fill the shoes of Pronger, which I don't see coming back

    Flyers have 7.8 mil in cap space. If they put pronger on LTIR his contract doesn't count towards the cap, freeing up another 4.9 mil.

    If the compensation includes a minimum 3 first rounders, Nashville should take the goods and get out. They are likely gonna lose him for nothing otherwise. That team is looking at a rough year either with or without Weber.
