Not sure if serious, maybe you should look up the fourth amendment.

I assure you, profiling is protected.

I.E. A cop cannot pull you over just because he thinks you have a high chance of DUI, or because your truck is blue.

Just like an officer cannot search your house because you look like a drug dealer.

You appear to be right. Federal law (U.S Code, Title 10, Section 2683) requires military installation commanders to adopt the same drinking age as the state the military base is located in (18 overseas). The military adopted that requirement in DoD Instruction 1015.10. The latter doesn't seem to differentiate between purchase, private consumption, public consumption, or whatever.

Everywhere we deployed to we adopted the local drinking age, just confirming what you already said.

Perhaps you need a definition of the word profiling - "noting a person's behavior and/or characteristics in order to predict or assess their ability in a certain sphere or to identify a particular group of people." Using your example as an example, an officer can pull you over if your "behavior" on the road (swerving, etc) indicates the likelyhood of DUI. On the other hand, your truck being blue (another of your examples) indicates nothing (unless everyone in that neighborhood dealing drugs at that time on night used a blue truck), so would never be used for profiling.

Noting someone swerving would be probably cause and a basis for the stop. Just like if someone was speeding or driving recklessly.

Noting someone's car is lifted, or a sports car, or is popular with a certain group of people (younger men) who have a higher chance of being DUI doesn't give the officer cause to pull over. Unfortunately, it happens all the time. What do you think the first thing a lawyer looks at when handling a DUI case? The stop, because if it was a violation of the 4th amendment the whole case will be dismissed.

i know a guy who did the exact same thing, in a similar truck except it was a double cab, he was drunk, on xanax, and multiple other drugs, crashed his car pretty much like this into a house, when the crash happened, he ditched the truck ran his ass off, and called the police in the morning reporting his truck has been stolen, the insurance totally bought it.. and he got off scotch free.

Yes I know. My Fiance is from SOCAL. It doesn't make it right. What do you think helped cause the LA Riots?
Where did anyone say he should get off scott free? And I am sorry for your loss but if he was less than the legal limit I would say that it was an auto accident with more factors than just alcohol at play.
I know multiple people that did that. It's actually harder for police and prosecutors to prove DUI if you get into an accident and run away because they cannot prove that you were driving.

A CO can say no underage drinking and hit you with the UCMJ as disobeying a lawful order in the US. Overseas has a different set of rules but it can still be outlawed if people consistently get into trouble.
