Gratz on the truck. Take the $500 and remove the TRD stickers (I think they look cheezy anyway).

i am still haggling with them. they are offering a 1 year warranty (750 value) or the $500.

i think i should probably just take the $500, right? i mean i've driven it about 400 miles already, wouldnt something suspicious show up by now?

1 year warranty for $750 sounds as if they are double wammy you.
That should at least get you 3-5 year. These warranties are so much inflaited the dealer marks them up 40/50% beware of theat. Brother inlaw worked with car dealer gave me the skinny. Lexus wanted 2200 for the old ladies car, their cost was $690...hmmm beware.

PS the comment earlier was about the stickers, I think they are funky too.:D

Take the $$$ and buy something nice for the truck like rims since those steel wheels are ugly.

Just peel them off the same as any stickers..heat up with a blow dryer if its cold out, use some cleaner or adhesive remover if any sticky stuff is left behind. You shouldn't even need to wax since they haven't been on there very long.
While you are at it remove all the badging and the mud flaps then at 1st glance nobody will know what model it is.

Well depends what you are looking for....check out the tire/wheel threads here...

Check out what others have done with the same color here...

and just some nice Tacos to browse here...

One common suggestion is to upgrade wheels and tires at the some time, because there is a better selection of rims in a 17" that will fit better than the 16"s, but there are plenty 16" rims you could go with to keep your stock tires.

    Congrats :D

I started reading this thread thinking it was a short one. 8 pages later, I had to keep reading to see how it turned out. Caveat Emptor my friend. You did the right thing by coming here. Other than the hilarious bickering and low tide crack (equally hilarious), you received plenty of options.

    Keep us posted......
