The pink sticker is the one you get in California for out of state use.

I got to ride for 3 hours yesterday, now my hands are full of blisters. I was racing the whole time (without anyone else lol) I dropped my bike off a little cliff and it almost fell down a 200ft embankment , was a pain in the ass to get the bike back on the trial, especially when you factor in a 140lb guy (with gear is why I weigh so much, ha!) trying to pull up a 220lb bike, but after about 10 minutes of slowly tugging it made it back up, but with lots of new scratches!

About an hour before that I was climbing a rocky hill and a rock hit the rear sprocket and knocked the chain loose, I didnt see it and thought I broke my transmission, I thought my goose was cooked, nobody around for 20 miles in any direction (thats why you kids shouldnt ride alone, I'm old so its OK if I die :p)

I have a 3.2 gallon fuel tank and it only had about .5 gallon left, so it is safe to say I pretty much stretched it out pretty good. It was hotter than I thought it was going to be (felt like 90 degrees) but now I am so sore I am walking funny. But all in all it was super fun, I just wish I had people to go with, makes it that much funner.

So if anyone would like to improve their riding skills, come out with me, but be willing to go slightly outside your comfort zone, thats the only way to get better, and I am not trying to kill anyone. Its not as hard as you think, it is all in your head, if you ride with confidence its amazing what you can do, if you hesitate bad things can happen.

I would like to try and go once per week if anyone would like to try and come out, I am probably going to Elsinore MX this weekend with a friend and play around a bit, I need to get faster on the track in a serious way, it helps in Desert racing a bit too, although I seem to do pretty well so far without being the fastest guy on the race track, I have raced a few GPs and did fine since they dont use the big triples in those, I am totally scared shitless of those things...

Anyway the YZ300 did awesome and man I love that bike, just started riding 2 strokes again and my CRF450 has been collecting dust for the last 5 rides! Before you couldnt pry me off the thing, but now the YZ in my favorite! I should ride the CRF to remind me why I love that one too, that one goes over 100mph in the dirt! Maybe thats why, lol.

P U S S Y, dig deeper!!!!!! I know you have it in you Doug, show these Whippersnappers whats up! :D

Nice feet, now put some shoes on, you know better than walking barefoot in the garage!!

Also why did you take so much extra stuff apart?? Seems like a lot of extra work to me.

Hey Manny, just noticed your text message, I was already on my way home by that point...

Let me know when you can get out in the morning and we can set it up. During weekdays though, weekends are too dangerous.

I went through the USO when I sent bags of coffee out. I'll ask my marine cousin if he knows any people overseas to send it more direct.

If I want to ride and nobody else does, I gotta do what I gotta do.

To me there is nothing in the world that makes me as happy as riding my dirtbike, its my main outlet so I take the chance.

I have been riding since I was 3 years old so I can handle myself pretty good, the bike can always fail, but so far so good. Also since I have been riding forever my pace can get pretty fast especially when I realize that there is nobody around to help if a situation where I need help occurs, I always end up finding a way to survive, lol.

Everybody always says the same thing "You ride alone!!! Your crazy!" haha. If people only knew the kind of things I try when I am alone would make you cringe, sometimes I think after the ride, OMFG your lucky dude, lol. If there is a trail I will do it, my thoughts are if somebody else can do it I can do it no problem...hopefully!

As far as riding spots, the place I went yesterday is very close to SD, just east of Alpine off the Pine Valley offramp, you can put on 100 miles if you feel froggy, lol

Also there is Ocotillo Wells, my favorite place EVER, but its a bit more east and since it is a desert it is well over 100degrees ATM, as is Havasu where I go at least once per month, I am also the only guy riding out there as well, nobody else is crazy enough to put gear on and ride when its over 100 degrees.

Hit me up via PM and we can exchange numbers and set up a ride if you have time.

Just carry a gps enabled phone. That way, when someone needs to look for you they can track the phone.

Got one, it makes it easier for body retrieval

I am going to get a new Iphone and a GPS app, they also make handlebar mounts for them so you can see the map. Remember when you had to buy an actual GPS? lol.

Haha, JAAAAAASOOOOON !!! Just the guy I'm looking for... Hey tell me about it, I know it DOES seem like alot of weird shit has to come loose, & most of it makes no sense to me either, I'd rather just punch a couple holes in firewall to get to bolts under exhaust, my first mistake was even using ANY info in this POS comic book they call a manual.....

It's all good that's what I figured too! I ended up going to 905 alone also haha I dont usually ride alone but I really wanted to ride i met some high school kids that were out there with there little brothers so I felt ok leaving my truck by them. Took a couple long rides for about 3-4 hours and felt more comfortable with it it's just the tight turns I worry about now.
