They have a red Baja Edition XC here at the State Fair. I wonder if it will be discounted after having thousands of people getting in and out of it during the fair?

That reminds me of the time when I was going to buy this beautiful Silverado. I had put a down on it on a Friday, had to work Sat and Sun and was going to pick it up after they detailed it and took care of all the little things that needed to be done on a new car delivery.

After work I had to go run an errand before things closed and I passed by a parking lot that had something going on. It was like a carnival or fair of some sort. Tons of people there. It looked rather busy so I figured it was going to be open late so I parked the car.

MY truck was there on display, with hella sticky fingered kids crawling in and out of it, dust covered shoes on the leather, people fiddling with controls and center console, having drinks in their hands....

And yes. I KNOW it was mine because I had seen the VIN and it had an 888 in it. My lucky numbers. It also had mud on the inside of the wheel wells where I had taken it in the dirt during the test ride. I went back to the dealership after I saw the truck at the fair and snooped around back, the truck was no where to be seen. My husband went by on Sat AND on Sun and the truck was still on display at the fair.

Naturally, I went in on Monday, reported what I saw and got my deposit back.

Depending on the group you go out with, you should expect to be out most of the day. If someone f's up, you could be out well into the night

 

Going camping that weekend. Plus my truck can't handle Fordyce
