    well i got the bar for free and thats why i have it. but i dont think i would get a tube bumper im to scared to rip off my stock bumper haha

    Once you rip the stocker off you'll realize hole littl protection Toyota afforded you. Glad I have steel now.

    mostly stock
    I say repurpose it and build a bumper out of it. Take all that plastic crap underneath off and just build a nice tube bumper. It sure does help the approach angle.

    But I say leave it! Makes it yours and noticeable, and... You can never have enough lights in my opinion. It's up to you man, if you like it, keep it! If not, well, I know someone who'd take those lights off your hands ;)

    yeah i got it for free so might as well just keep it for now. its not doing any harm. and it does make my truck more noticeable but i am terrible at decision making

    i would take it off. you look at the truck and its like "oh ok those are cool lights but thats a weird tube bumper". then you realize its a light bar. doesnt look right IMO

    i'd cut off the sides and top bar, then you still get the use of a light bar without the the extra/ugly junk.

    there's partially a reason for that... you want it to crumple so it absorbs the impact/force. of course, that will have more or less importance depending upon the speed, etc. of the collission.

    That type doesn't look right. It doesn't flow with the shape of the tacoma very well. Besides, light bars are hideous..:anonymous:
