This weather is awesome! Some really serious lightning this time around. Really wish the PNW got thunder and lightning more often.

Welcome to the PNW son. You wont get large thunderstorms in Portland. Its not dry enough. Go east into the high desert of Oregon and Washington. Then you'll see a thunderstorm.

No shit. I was in Yellowstone last summer. We had thunderstorms every night. The best shook the entire lodge

They get some killer storms out there. That's one thing I miss about living back in South Dakota, damn good thunderstorms.

I'd prefer snow atleast 50% of the time...rain for another 20% and sun can have the rest.

This is a perfect solution. :D

Well maybe 50% snow, 25% rain, 25% sun for me. :p

    ^^^THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a thunderstorm whore!!!

I've been to the Sturgis rally 5 times and stayed in Sturgis for a week, stayed in Deadwood for a week, stayed in Jackson Hole, been all thru Yellowstone etc, and thunderstorms EVERY night. Lightning every second!!!!

Unreal amazing shit!!! In South Dakota it can be 100 degrees and not a cloud in sight, then an hour later - 50 mph wind, earth shaking thunder and lightning with golf ball hail. Then an hour later - sunny and like nothing just happened. CRAZY FUN!!!!

I've only driven in like maybe 8" of snow, so if it's anything more than that, take it easy on me.

BTW whatcha think : I need a new way to mount my PIAAs as i won't be buying a bumper anytime soon. I can mount them behind my grill with the Satoshi mod for $90, or i can buy the small light bar SNOBORD makes for like 180 ??

Haha! I believe we've talked about this before. But, yeah there are some damn amazing storms out that way.

I haven't been to Florida, but the midwest has some awesome summer storms.
