OEM, Seems to work great. The truck does what I want and gives great gas mileage (generally better than 26 mpg).

    TRD isn't on the list.

I have the TRD 1st gen and own a TRD 2nd gen. 1st gen is better.

I use a stock intake and sometimes swap to an AEM brute force open air filter setup with heat shield.

The both work about the same but the AEM is louder.

I can't say I've noticed any power gains from mine, but I don't have any noise in the cab until 3000 rpm which is right when I want to hear them anyhow :headbang:

Well, I pulled the trigger on an Afe pro-dry S CAI today. I am thinking about getting it dyno'd just because there's not really any conclusive before/after evidence on here about 2.7's other than people's opinions on whether they work or not. Plus I'd like to know.

Installed my AFE CAI last night. Definitely a noticeable difference in acceleration. Didn't get any louder, but the exhaust tone got lower.

I installed a AirAid intake on my 12' about a month ago and like it a lot, It may just be me but i feel it picks up quicker i cant say for any power gain as i think the only time it would be felt is at like 4k+ RPM and i really never see that unless I floor it in first haha
