He also said they usually have off duty officers working there, (so he did not indicate if there were any there)

 

His house may have been wired too, and he's some sort of neuro something student. . . (also according to apparently very inaccurate news channel here)

 

I could only imagine what it will take to unravel the truth and can see why he did not say much until they know.

Yeah, they asked about how he got in and he declined to answer however people inside the theater have already said how he did it which indeed could be wrong.

The fact that he has an assault rifle is a game changer, much worse than a pistol. Crazy stuff, I feel horrible for those who have lost loved ones, especially the kids

 

Listening live as he spoke on local news. He stated as I typed. Timing was mentioned twice and the second time he stated 1:30 to 2mins. He was asked point blank if off duty were there and he stated No. But given the pressure of that news conference it is really hard to pick your words carefully.

 

News, can't trust it I just went back to make sure what they said.

What do you mean HAS to be? Is that not what an AR-15 is?

 

I don't think it's an ASSAULT weapon, I don't want to turn the thread to much but I just fail to see how it's considered a assault weapon but the 2 glocks hand guns and the shotgun are just that.

Tons of people have AR 15's aka Evil black rifle.

If you label the AR 15 a assault rifle why not label the shotgun an assault shotgun as the 870 is one of the best selling HD weapons and it was used to assault people right?

I just don't agree with labeling only one an assault rifle.

 

This is not necessarily true. The average citizen has access to better training than most police forces - and even the military - receive and can typically be more selective of their training to boot. Because of the training I have chosen to pay for, I am a more accurate/faster shot than any of my friends who are in the military who cannot afford such training.
