Ok guys, I have been reading that you guys using a tie rodpuller/pickle fork. This will destroy your tie rod and ball joint boots.

This is what we do here. We loosen all the ball joints, tie rod bolts, and leave them on the last few threads. Then we hit knuckle not thetie rod with 3lb or 4lb mallet right where the tie rod/ball joint goes into the knuckle. With 1-5 good hits they will fall out just from the vibration, because you left the nuts on with a few threads the knuckle wont go crashing down to the ground when they break free.

I was referring more to the pickle fork style. We do a few sets of knuckles a week and can swap 2wds in about an hour. Most of the time goes to putting the truck on the lift. I was just trying to make it easier on you guys and let you know what the techs at the retail location do.

damn that is quick but it helps to put a truck on lift instead of doing everything on the ground. I think i have done it in like 4-5 hours for the front

P.S. I did not want to post on this thread until the group buy was over. I thought it would be kind of a jerk move to have another vendor posting during an active buy through suspension specialties.
