you will spend 180 on a small light but have a hard time spending ~900 for a quality bumper. XD

So, was headin home last night was followin a guy and his son (as I found out), and happened to witness him hit a deer that jumped out in front of him. I ain't sure on the speed at impact he was and I was on the brakes... The guy didn't lay the bike down at all! I stopped and talked to him abit and made sure he, and his son, was ok. Crazy shit.

I have had 3 sets of kragen HID's and a couple sets of hella's on my front bumper over the years. Out of those only one survived, and it has a cracked housing so I now use it as a back up light, lol. I got some china freebie lights and mounted them behind the grill and they somehow have lasted almost a year. The point is, if you mount them exposed on the front and are prone to smashing into stuff they won't last long, even the expensive lights. (I used to find smashed $500 lights all over the race course after desert races) Behind the grill is a much more protected area, so I say go that route. They might look cooler all mickey moused to a lightbar, but they will break to shit the first time you come in hot into the dirt and take a digger.

Anyone know if there are any good access roads in the Wallowa Lake area? Its been ages since I've been out there and I just remember how freaking beautiful those mountains where. I've been wanting to head out there to explore for the last year or so like none other.

get the mesh to stay? 3 plastic screws in the bottom towers and zip ties all around.
mine warped from all the transportation I did with it. Also doing the fiberglass drunk, did not help for such a important piece. I think I only have like 4 towers actually on the frame.

I forgot to bend the hood lever up, so I couldn't get the middle bottom tower to connect and took a hacksaw to it. surprisingly it is pretty sturdy.

There are tons of nice roads out there. On the way you could take summit road from the I-84 just past Meacham over to Hwy 204 near tollgate and then run that to Elgin. It's a nice high speed rally car rip, but the views are awesome and the ponds out there have some fatty trout in them and no tourists to clog the roads. The roads near wallowa are kind of all dead end runs but it's still cool to explore.

No doubt I should have my sliders, maybe even a bumper at that time frame. With tires of course.
