Sitting on over 1 acre, 3 bedroom?

That house would rent for well over $2000 in some parts of California simply because of the amount of land.
Transplant the "outhouse" to a 100x100ft lot and it would still be $1200 or more.

 

where do you live?
(renting) $725 bucks will not get you a 1.18 acre 3 bedroom home here in socal
will get you a 1 bed 1 bath apartment.

 

Same in Maryland

 

$725 is low for SoCal. Well maybe $725 if you live out in the boonies.

 

$750 gets me a 2 bedroom apartment with no washer, drier, garage, etc.. in Chico, which is a really cheap place to live in California lol

$725 barely gets a room for rent in my house in LA, i charge $600/month for one room shared bathroom

 

That's 3/4 of my mortgage payment on my 3 bedroom 1750 sqft home here in cheap-to-live MO.

 

If you are really lucky...

 

$725 a month will get you a room in a basement here.

 

Perhaps don't rent it if it's not favorable.

Try eastern Oregon - $750, 2000sq ft , fireplace, 2 acres, half wooded, garage, view of mt.hood, vineyards, and orchards, place to shoot, deer etc. all over the place.

 

And I would be employed where??????


That's the problem.
Expensive housing generally means high paying jobs in the same area.
Cheap housing means low paying jobs in the same area.
