tired of the noise of the wiper's engine

Do you think it is only mine? I hear the enigne's wiper avery time it is raining it is inacceptable for a new generation car to have a noise of the engine wiper

 

I definently here mine go its annoying.

 

I dont notice anything with mine. Not overly loud or anything.....

 

Same here in my 08. It does get annoying....... I asked the same question a few weeks ago on a couple different boards and the overall response was it is normal.

 

turn em off and drive faster, the water will leave the windshield when you reach 100 or so.

 

put rain-x on your windshield and you won't have to run the wipers as fast b/c the water will bead off.

 

+1 on rain-x-I lubs that shit!! Wind shield, drivers window, mirrors all get it like once a month.

 

got the noise here to.im used to it now.no biggy.

 

I double checked mine the other day when its raining, I couldn't hear them at all, even at an idle and stopped. Thats interesting.

 

to the OP, are you sure it's the wiper motor you're hearing and not the sound of squeaky blades going over your windshield. go to autozone and get yourself some rain-x latitude wipers along with rain-x window treatment and you'll be golden

 

Well... I would like to say If you can hear your wipers motor... turn your AC on or Turn your radio on...

but im with simon its probably just you not having enough rain on the window to have a nice smoothe action. Cause I don't hear nuffin! NUFFIN!!!!

For me the amount of moisture on the windshield doesn't matter. What I hear is definately the sound of the electric motor running.

 

Its louder than road noise?
You don't listen to the radio? (is it louder than the radio?)
You don't enjoy AC? (is it louder than your AC?)

 

I don't like Rain X. Once you start using it you have to keep using it. Puts a film on your windshield that is hard to get off. There's a reason professional truck drivers don't use it.

 

I hear my wiper motor at lower speeds with my radio on not AC weather quite yet in VA

 

that is the loudest windshield wiper motor Ive heard in years.
I can't hear mine AT ALL
its dead silent
so maybe u got a problem

 

Most of the time I only really hear it when I'm stopped and have passengers with me (when the radio's not so loud).

 

i dont hear anything from mine.....

 

It never rains here so I don't use wipers. They'll dry rot before they're used.
