I'm going with cobra 25, but 50$ sounds better that 60$

50 is what I was thinking. Why is so much better?

    Yes
The 25 is the best out of the bunch. Although the antenna looks sketchy with the duct tape. I'd check that and then talk him down some.

Well depends what u want. A good ole cobra 29 is the best I have one. With the fire stick antenna it works great... If u ask any trucker what to get they'll all say cobra 29. Plus if u aml the power to something like 80 watt u can reach out a good 10-15 miles otherwise stock works good 3-5i miles. Just keep in mind u get what u pay for. A 60$ cb will work like a 60$ cb, and a 100$ cb will work like a 100$ cb... And remember cb radios arnt as simple as plug and play, well if u want optimal performance of ur cb. U need to swirl ur system I.e. the optimal distance for ur antenna from the radio... The hight u should have the antenna, and invest in good cable to run from the radio to the antenna. Because if u run the cable and it gets any breaks in the coating where the break is will then interfere with the tip of the antenna cause lake of performance and range. I do not know how to swirl a radio I had a trucker friend do it but my 29, Is swirled perfect and I have pick up people on the east coast of Florida and I live on the west side. Just my 2 cents boss have a good one.

Also it's a good idea to ground ur antenna to the frame all u need to do is run a copper wire from the base of the antenna to ur frame simple but improves performance

Truckdrivers or a truck stop on an interstate is your best bet. I personallywould purchase atleast a 250 watt linear and a steel whip antenna. Find a piece of rubber tubing fot the antenna to keep from rubbing the paint. Then find someone to tune it for peak performance. Good luck.

Power STRAIGHT from battery. Then VERRY good ground. And make sure u do NOT run the antenna wire with other wire especially it's own power supply or ground.
