    @sean, crystal lakes or mow hawk lakes. If you really wanna get out of the city for a hike hanging lake is a good day hike. How hike friendly are the kiddo's? Crystal lake, Mohawk lake area is a great one cause you can see the falls and then turn back if needed.

    Helped build trail on hanging lake. Not a hard hike and very nice scenery. Hopefully lake isn't too dried up. There's a log you can walk way out on in the middle
