VIN NUMBER QUESTIONS

Just wondering if there is a FREE site that i could insert my VIN number into and receive all the little add ons and specifics of my truck??

Ask a Toyota dealer??

 

To my knowing there isn't anything like that for Toyota. I remember with my VW, there were tools(Vagcom) out there that you could modify things within the computer for modifications other models had etc. This doesn't be the same case with Toyota.

 

There is a toyota shopping app I have for my iphone. It lets you enter vin numbers and tells about the truck.

 

Search the forum. There is a thread that has a decoder link for each year.

if you're asking about options and packages, the dealer would be able to tell u, and if your truck didn't come from the region, your local might or might not be able to tell you, and if they can't, they can tell u what dealer sold ur truck, and you can call them and they'll have it.

i called my dealer in tampa, they told me a few things, not everything, told me to call dealer in PA where my truck came from
