Np dude it was senior seminar project. Would rather have done that then wrote a paper and done some other service lol. We did the rebuild my senior year of high school. Fall 2010. And they cleaned up all the loose rocks re routed the creek that went through the trail and we put a giant rock stair case below the rail built in the rocks your talking about.. That spot has stairs in it as well and is a good picture taking spot at the large rock in the middle. its not too bad.

My vote is hanging lake because its the hike closest to me and the only one I have been to out of those haha...

It is not a bad hike at all my family did it before the rebuild and my sister was a year and a half old and parents carried her and my youngest brother was six. He is a spaz and like ran the whole way but your daughter with those dumb bells looks like she should be fine haha..

As for distance it took our group of like 12 with 2 six year olds a baby four parents and 5 adolescent kids like 2 hours up and down but when the rebuild was done my buddy and I who were 17 made it up in like 30 minutes.

Total distance is 1.2 miles and it is like "walking up stairs" is what one review says. I'm sure you guys could do it.

I would have to say your not that into them of you do not know about tack lights and what not. Or have to question a good shot. I'll put good money up that I can fire 1 round into a kill zone at any given time with my XD 40 or my sig 45. I have also trained under tear gas and smoke with my side arms. But I have had formal training and have shot these fire arms for years. My sig being over 10 years. In formal training you train for the non perfect scenario. I'm on the same page as ostrishack on this.

I have an idea we have a TW meet and shoot. I have a few private ranges we can use. I'm sure between me, Sean, kodiak, and ostrisack we have enough fire arms for the people who think they can bark with the big dogs can have a humbling experience. I have enough to go around for sure and if need be I can hit up my family for more. Between me my dad and my bro I can prolly furnish 30-40 fire arms. ;). Out of the peeps I listed I'm sure they would out shoot me being that they do it more at this point in my life. But hey I'm ok with it. :$. Thumbs up lets do this!!!

Front Range Gun Club in Loveland has details about parties...they reserve the range for when its not open  AR-15's are allowed there as well. And there is a BWW and Old Chicago right down the road....not to mention Brothers Grimm Brewery is right next door, literally same building.

    Shoot first, drink beers later.

I'm still waiting to see where I argued with you on your ammo cans. If you're going to accuse someone of something you better be ready to back up your claim because right now your not looking very credible. Keep in mind I was fine with letting this go with us agreeing on the fact that we were thankful it wasn't worse than it was. That seems awfully agreeable for being the argumentative prick you've painted me out to be.

Ed will actually let you fire up to and including a .50BMG. Don't ask how I know. I don't do a whole lot of indoor work these days because they tend to be more restrictive to what I require. Even though they know me at FRGC pretty well and let me get away with more than most given my demonstrated ability it's still not enough for the crazy shit I like to run through. ;) My favorite spot is my buddies land back in Nebraska where we can do everything from setting up abandoned houses of his as shoot houses to practice clearing structures & CQB to an elevated bluff overlooking a valley where we can get out to over a mile with the bigger stuff to everything in between. I prefer this with the handful of those I know well and trust to being caged up in indoor ranges with a bunch of random rooks. Makes me nervous.
