Nice photo! Based on that I think you can keep up with us :)

You shouldn't need VR if you are shooting with a shutter speed above the focal length of your lens. I.e. 300mm lens needs a 1/300 to not have to use VR.

God im terrible at explaining things :(

im not exactly sure how good the d200 iso range is but its probably good enough that you could have bumped it up to 500 probably even 800. with my d3000 i dont go above 800 but im sure the d200 at 800 would be alright.

Ah yes, then you definitely would have needed VR:)

I do not like noise either. I do think you would have been able to go to at least ISO400. I usually shoot at ISO640 for every day shooting and then bump it up darker situations.

I went to a reptile show with my Fiancé and some guy had a bobcat as a pet, they are a big issue where my parents live

idk that I have a favorite. I mean I might now but that could easily change tomorrow.

Plus, some of my favorites are things and events I've been to but not necessarily good pictures. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

That makes total sense, most all of my favorite photos arent necessarily my best, but they all mean something to me or have a story behind em
