    BlueNorth,

Do you have pictures of your truck with the lift and stock tires? I've always wondered what that would look like.

I do not need, or want a lift. I have punched this ride through some bad conditions without problem.
I like seeing over the hood.

Personally, I don't think the spacers and AAL's are as harsh as people make them out to be. If you want a cushy ride, buy a cadillac.

A 3" lift is not that dramatic. You can see over the hood just fine. Once the lift has been on for a little while, you hardly notice the height difference. It looks as if that's how the truck should've been made in the 1st place.

I dunno...Mine can be bone jarring if I'm going over anything 5" or higher (rock, curb, tree). Like something's maxing out like a shock or spring... I'm always driving so I can't watch to see what happens. I just know my passengers get tossed around when I offroad.

My passengers got toosed around when the truck was still stock. Then again, when I'm wheelin, I can drive like an ass sometimes.

I know what you mean. I get that to, but there's a more pronounced "jolt" when the tires drop over an obstacle. I wheeled a little bit stock, but the lift has been on since around 2-3 months of ownership so it's hard to remember. I'm just thinking a different lift might smooth out some of that.

I have a 1930 Mod. Mom. If the Taco is warm, that is what I take.
3" would matter to her. And the lack does not bother me a bit.

You're right, in your (or her) position, a 3" lift would not be desirable.
