I appreciate that but he wanted me to drive out here to mock it up on my truck because I have stock fenders and wanted to change a few things to the design that he built for Hiatt.

I have now sent him 3-4 texts, called him 9 times, and sent him an e-mail. Still no luck of getting in touch with him or him returning my calls, texts or email...

That sucks, are there no fab shops close to you in AZ? Why are you so set on this shop?

There are a few fab shops in AZ (Avid being one of them)

The reason I am set on Sick Nicks is because I really like the bumper that he made for Hiatt1991 on here.

That is what I think that I am going to do, if he doesn't want my money then I am not going to force it upon him

Avid Offroad does amazing work, only reason I didn't have them do it was because Brandon doesn't typically do frame horns (just uses tubing)

Nick's complete disregard for building my bumper as we planned over a month ago lost him a customer. I find it absolutely ridiculous that he was either so rude as to not return any of my calls, texts, or emails or that he has absolutely no clue how to run a business. Does he do great work, yes, but if he is unable to actually communicate with a customer and actually get/do the work then what is the point?

like we all said, take the design you want to a local fab guy. I like what Nick does so I never complained. All I know is he wins races and I trust his views and suggestions for my truck.

    1000's of changes being?

    1.) A different diameter tubing (wanted 1 3/4" instead of 2")

2.) adding holes one the sides of the frame horns

3.) maybe moving up the side support tubes just for a different look

    4.) adding d-ring shackle mounts

All of which would have been simple for a competent fabricator.

Also, he was the one who told me that I would need to be there while he built it so we could mock up the few things that I was wanting to change. Along with the fact that it is a long drive from San Diego to his shop so I would have to stick around while it was being built.

It would have been nice for him to just tell me he didn't want my business before I drove 400 miles from Arizona and wasted gas for no reason. I could have hithed a ride with my buddy that was coming out at the same time had he been respectful enough to tell me.
